BONAS JI SERIE

The JI jacquard is based on the successful micro-selector, supplemented by a revolutionary drive mechanism. The JI is available from 1920 to 5760 hooks in a single jacquard, ranging from only 10 to 20 knives deep. JI meets customer expectations including low power consumption, low maintenance, long life, high performance and high flexibility.

The revolutionary compact drive mechanism, specially designed for high load production and maximum flexibility, includes the following features:

– Double cam, fully balanced

– Fewer and lighter components resulting in low friction and low vibration

– Low centre of gravity, reducing jacquard and gantry vibration.

SELECTION MECHANISM

The development of the microselector has allowed us to create the fastest, lightest and most compact jacquard in its range, while maintaining the strength, stability and robustness typical of BONAS jacquards.

The 100% electronic microselector, full control and full diagnostics make our selector mechanism ideal for operation in dusty environments, maintenance free and temperature independent.

DRIVE MECHANISM

DWELL

A dwell period is a period in a cycle of the jacquard where the shed remains motionless in the open position. This idle period or dwell of the cycle within the drive mechanism is specified for each installation:

Yarn stretch reduced for optimum weaving

Larger dimensions possible, without reduction of weaving speed, due to reduction of inertia caused by compactness

CI CONTROLLER

BONAS' Control innovator – CI – is the latest Linux-based jacquard controller, a practical and efficient interface between user and jacquard. The CI controller features a clear display of information using icons, on a 10.4" colour touch screen, making navigation between functions quick and easy.

Pattern transfer is possible via USB or network, allowing two-way communication. The CI is compatible with industry 4.0.
